The British government announced that on Wednesday, February 8, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will visit London, his first official visit to Western Europe in a year since the invasion of Russia on February 24, 2022.
Earlier there were reports that Volodymyr Zelenskyi will probably participate in the EU summit in Brussels on February 9-10.

Prime Minister Risha Sunak's office at 10 Dawnig Street reports that Zelensky will visit Ukrainian military personnel undergoing training at British bases, as well as speak in parliament.
So far, during the year of the active phase of the Russian war, President Zelenskyi has made only one official visit abroad in December 2022 to the United States, where he met with President Joe Biden and addressed Congress, and on the way he stopped in Poland, where he held negotiations with Polish leaders.
The visit to London will be a recognition of the leading role of Great Britain, which has become the largest donor of international military aid to Ukraine after the United States.
On the occasion of Zelenskyi's visit, the British government announced a new package of aid, including a plan to train Ukrainian pilots on "the latest fighter jets that meet NATO standards," as well as a new training program for Ukrainian marines.
Last week, Ukrainian tankers arrived in Britain, who will use 14 British Challenger-2 tanks promised to Ukraine.
